[Maybe I Need Some Rehab]
What a lovely day. Lovely indeed, but not all days could be spent laying around. Or so most would think. Sir was kicking it back and relaxing. Why not? When wuld another day so perfectly warm and green come around?
Though everyone she knew would spend it trying to go hunting. Done and done. The remains of a nicely caught fawn lay not too far away, moss covering it incase any predators were to come while she was dozing off. Of course, if they did they'd get a taste of her full fledged fury. She wasn't afraid of anything.
Slowly, the fae started to doze off. Dreaming of nothng exept some shadowy brute. Darkness enclosed her and him, ad one could tell she thought strongly of him- an not in the good way. "You will pay for what you did to Mother you limbless slug!" She growled and lunged at him, before he disappeared. More like shattered.
She quickly darted awake, now cautious of the noise something, or someone, made. Like a twig crack. She was not alone.

"And the master hunter slides silently after his unsuspecting quarry..."
Rook lifted his head, and fixed his cyan hued gaze on the bright blue butterfly only a few feet away from him. Waggling his haunches, the massive Great Dane lowered his stance and waited a few moments before taking another step forwards, then another, and then another until he was nearly on top of the neon insect. Slowly, and very attractively, he opened his jowls and let a small dribble of drool fall from his mouth and beside his 'prey'.
The butterfly then flicked its wings and took off, with Rook close at it's heels. The large dog galloped after the butterfly, snapping at the air beside it, trying his hardest not to actually hurt the pretty bug. After a while, his prey flew out of his reach and Rook was left, panting happily beside a tree stump. The blue and white Dane's loud panting seemed very loud in the quite of the clearing, but it was nothing compared to when he stood up.
CRACK.
Rook started and fell back onto his haunches as a large branch cracked under his weight, causing him to let out a little yelp of surprise. This was followed by another yelp, a few octaves louder, as the head of a wolf shot up to his right. The male stumbled over himself as he tried to move away from the possibly hostile female, and when she was at least six feet away, he gawked. Well, what would you expect him to do, dance with her? No.
The female looked harmless enough, but Rook had learned to trust his gut, and his gut was saying 'FLEE'. But, fleeing was out of the question. He was in too deep now, with his curiosity piqued. So, he wiggled around and finally came back into a normal sitting position, instead of before where his legs and tail were all tangled together in a mass of moving dog.
Finally situated, Rook took the time to study the ebony female. She was a wolf, but he'd known that from the start, and she had black fur and almost golden-amber eyes. Blinking, Rook realized he'd never seen her around here before. Then he realized, he was staring at her with his mouth hanging open.
Quickly closing his mouth, Rook tried a few times to explain himself but it continuously turned out to be useless mumbles and growls. The young Dane mentally kicked himself before slowly trying to form words once more.
"Oops... I... Uh... Umm... Well..." Rook paused. "Hi."
And that's as far as he got.

The fae's head snapped up suddenly as she heard the large twig snap, followed shortly by a lot of yelps. The baby She snorted. He was big, tough looking, but a baby.
Then she noticed. He might be here for her fawn. Oh, he will not get her fawn. Maybe she didn't cover it up well enough. Well he was not going to get it. She quickly stood up and was over to her fawn in a flash, almost like she was teleporting. Except, she wasn't. Crouching down, the fae snarled at the brute that dared to come by her.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw that shadowy figure. It was deffinately the works of the light and her imagination, but she didn't know that. Protect her only food? Or go kill the brute that murdered her mother? She stayed put,on her fawn. He's tormenting me. Liasus is tormenting me. She growled under her breath. But, the brute only did the unexpected, and started backing slowly away. So he feared her. Good.
After a while of some disapointing mumbling and grumbling, he finally said hi. "Hi?" She said, looking down on him. Or more up. "Hi?" She said, close to letting out a nervos laugh. "You're not here to steal my food?" She asked, close to the point of laughing hysterically.
"Well, hello...?" She replied, still cautious ith the male.

The ebony female sprung to her paws and was suddenly over a mound of moss, her teeth pulled back and her eyes glittering. Rook remained sitting, but lowered his own head and returned her growl with an awkward, throaty snarl. Well, if she was that protective over a mound of moss, he figured she was nut-job. Slowly, as not to provoke her, he scented the air a few times and determined it was leftovers, lunch probably. Why she was so defensive over it, when he was obviously well fed, was beyond the Great Dane.
As they faced off, the sun was continuously beating down on Rook's back, and the young male suddenly wished she'd just vanish. He was hot, tired and startled. Honestly, he didn't want to fight her. So, Rook did the unexpected; he relaxed all of his defenses and laid down with his large head on his paws. The female, obviously taking the hint, gave him a cautious glance.
"Hi? HI?" She asked. "You're not here to steal my food?"
Rook gave her an exasperated look. "Um, no? I hadn't even noticed it... Until you leaped up and threw yourself over the carcass like you were a mother bear protecting her cubs." He pointed out slowly, trying his best to keep the amusement from shaking his voice.
"Well, hello...?" She replied once again, her body still on edge.
"Hello yourself." Rook said, a wolfish smile forming on his features.
He stared at her for a while, his big cerulean eyes expectant. When she didn't respond, Rook frowned, then sighed softly and began to wag his tail. He was hoping to encourage her to relax, because he didn't want to fight, and if push came to shove, he'd just leave. She could chase him to Aetos lands and back, and he still wouldn't face her. The reason? Rook was really tired. His butterfly hunting session had worn him out, and due to the fact he was still young, when he got tired, he got tired.
After a few more awkward moments, Rook raised his head from his large paws and tried another grin. "I believe it is polite to introduce ourselves in this kind of situation." He woofed pointedly. Man, was she anti-social or what? Had she even met another canine before? "Since you don't seem to know of this custom, I'll start." He said good-naturedly, her obliviousness not dampening his spirits one bit.
Rook let his long tail swing from side to side, it thumped each haunch rhythmically, almost like the beat of a drum. "I'm Rook. I belong to the Tidus gang." He paused, then blinked cheerfully and let his grin widen. "I've never seen you around before, do you have a pack? What's you're name? Would you like to be friends?" And then. "Do you hunt butterflies?"

Something came out of his mouth, that could've been a growl. She wasn't too sure. Either way, he seemed like he was slowly relaxing, actually taking it pretty seriously and laying down. If he was trying to make a point, then he was pretty sucsessful at it. She steped over the fawn and layed down where she was when he came, and focused on him.
"Hello yourself." He has said just after she finally said hello. To her, he so far seemed like a large dog that looked menacing, but sure didn't act like it. At least he started talking enough for the both of them. Mainly all were questions. Then se noticed the smile, well sort of one anyways, and was temptedto just turn her head away so she wouldn't see it again. But that was too late.
She didn't want him to think therewas something wrong with her, so she gave him a nice grin before he returned to his questioneering.
"I believe it is polite to introduce ourselves in this kind of situation."
She opened her mouth to speak, before he opened his mouth and said a whole more things. This guy was a talking machine. Literally. But, instead of being rude and cutting in, something she was known to do, she just ept quiet until he was finishe speaking. Which took a lot more effort than it really should've been.
"Since you don't seem to know the custom, I'll start."
I know the so called 'custom' very well. She muttered silently, all in her own head. Except I prefer to no use something as ancient as that. She wasn't about to tell him that, not now anyways. She just did what she was best at and listened, not so intently but enough where she could focus on his words.
"I'm Rook, I belong to the Tidus gang." Short pause, then he continued, "I've never seen you around before, do you have a pack? What's you're name? Would you like to be friends?" Another short pause, "Do you hunt butterflies?"
There were a lot of shocking questions in that, the biggest was 'do you hun butterflies?' She decided that she was going to answer that first.
"Well, Rook, to answer your butterfly question," She said, taking her sweet time on answering. "No, I do not hunt butterflys." The fae was about to go into a full, lon detail answer on why she didn't hunt butterflys but decided to keep that for another day. On to the next question.
"No, I do not belong to a pack. And my name is Siroc." The fae replied, questioning herself on answering the only questin he sked the remained. 'Do you want to be friends?' At first, it was a no. Probably still was. "As for the friendship part, maybe when we actually get to knw eachother more."
She was interested in the gang he was in, though. "You said you were in Tidus, what sort of gang is that?"

"Well, Rook, to answer your butterfly question, no, I do not hunt butterflies."
"That's too bad." Another smile.
The black female drawled on, her voice deliberately slow while Rook wiggled around restlessly, she was taking too long to respond, and he was having troubles keeping still. When someone took their sweet time like she was doing, he easily lost interest. Which, with this female, was no different. The male barely heard her next response, to which she said she was pack-less and her name was Siroc. Siroc, it was a weird name and actually sounded male to the young Dane. Twitching his ears, he nearly commented on it but she cut him off with another statement. This one struck home with the younger dog.
"As for the friendship part, maybe when we actually get to knew each other more." Rook's large ears fell back against his head, and he stared, almost moodily, at the wolf. He'd only spoken to her because he wanted to make friends. He'd wanted to learn a bit about her, and then he'd wanted her to hunt with him and play with him... But, she was way too old to understand his pup-like nature. Well then, fine. If she didn't want to be friends, then he should just leave. He was ready to stand when she asked another question, that made him pause. "You said you were in Tidus, what sort of gang is that?"
Still slightly hurt by the female, since she obviously only cared about learning about Tidus, Rook got to his paws and flicked his tail. "Why don't you go and find out?" He asked, twitching one ear curiously. "I'm sure they won't kill you on site."
Rook sat down again and cocked his head, his large ears tumbling down his neck.

"That's too bad"
Another smile. He must keep them in some imaginary pockets or something because he just kept on smiling. No one can smile that much. Especially her. She was only rude and such when angry, and/or hostile, so she was just going to listen to him.
A long bit of silence, but it didn't kill her, only make her anxious. I guess Karma really bites you in the butt. She said in her head, recalling the time when she almost killed him by making him anxious.
But, in the bit of silence, she saw his reaction clearly when she was forced to tell him about the friendship problem. She normally wouldn't care, except, Rook was nice. He was nice, a bit block-headed, but he seemed loyal.
"Don't worry, Rook. In time we'll get to know each other a bit more, I promise." She was determined to keep that promise too.
"Why don't you go and find out? I'm sure they won't kill you on site."
Oh, that last part was very convincing. "Can you come? They might think differently from a female alone on their territory instead of a female and a joined member." It wasn't because she was scared, no way in hell was she scared, she just didn't know where the heart of the territory was. She'd feel so stupid if she were to just drop in during a meeting or something.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------- x3 sorry for hardly replying. It's just, I need music to write most of the time and my dad doesn't like the music I listen to, like Eminem, some Kesha, 3OH3, that kind of stuff. Mostly, I'll reply when I'm at mom's (though I only get a half an hour to an hour a day here at my moms).
Also, thank you soo much for helping me get more muse with rambling and stuff. :3 I wouldn't have been able to post long without you and Motion.
