He ain't here. He's late. Damn.
What a waste. This is annoyin'. Fuck it.
Banshee rose from the sand, her round ears twitching as she slowly regained her balance. She'd been sitting for nearly two hours, and that damned brute still hadn't bothered to show up. They'd agreed at sunset, had they not? And yet, the sun was down past the horizon and she could clearly see the moon hanging in the sky. It cast a silvery glow over everything within it's sight, including Banshee herself. Her crimson coat, turned to a lighter orange in it's light, seemed alive as each thick strand of hair waved around her form. The night air was cold, but Banshee didn't mind, she was used tot he wind, but she was not used to waiting like this.
She knew, of course, that Motion was sometimes late, but this wasn't exactly tardy. He'd made her waste a two full hours of her life. Banshee's lip curled at the thought of time and using her most powerful Control, but... Honestly, she'd toyed with the idea of going back in time, finding the Tidus leader and dragging him to their meeting spot by his gums. But, she didn't want to touch him with a nine foot pole. For some reason, the two alphas, Banshee of Aetos and Motion of Tidus, were polar opposites in more than a few ways. She and her gang prided themselves on their stealth and intelligence, but they were all about... strength. Though, brain power was not included in that wide category.
Many of the dogs in Tidus lacked the common thought process every Aetos canine used on a daily basis. Instead, Tidus members just acted on instinct and hoped things worked out. In Aetos, the canines were trained to think things through, find all the options and then attack in a silent manner. When Tidus members attacked, it sounded like herd of elephants charging across a wooden floor. Of course, Banshee didn't really care if she heard them coming a mile away, because, really, it didn't matter. They were just helping her zero in on their location, and then bam. Either a sneak attack, airal attack of a time twist. They were never any match for her. Though, Motion was rather fun to 'beat around the bush with.' They'd had many draws, and they'd both won their fair share of spars. Banshee often toyed with the male, tricking and teasing him with her intelligence and sometimes with her time abilities, though mostly she used wind.
Motion was quite the cocky little fucker, and Banshee enjoyed their little spats when they came around... Or when he showed. Motion, the no show. Banshee smirked at the thought, and subconciously licked her lips. There was one thing he'd never live down. The fact that she had showed and he hadn't. Then again, he could still pop up anywhere, but it didn't matter. The night was begining, and Banshee had things to attend to; canines to boss around, fish to fry, things to eat... Mmm. Food.
Banshee gave the surrounding land one last go-over before lifting her paws from the gritty sand and kicking herself into a slow trott. Slowly, she meandered down the beach, her ears pricked and her eyes in a constant movement. Motion was still bound to show up, so, she might as well let him catch up to her. She had said she'd be here, and well, she was here, just not there. Casting a look over her shoulder, the crimson female stared at the spot they'd met at so many times before. Well, he could always find her if she was too far out of site, it wasn't like she was zooming off the safety of her own gang lands. Not to mention she was leaving a trail of tracks in the damp sand, and was walking slower than an iron toe. He should have no trouble finding her if he decided he wanted to show up for the two-canine party.

wasn't spring a wonderful time of year?
the sun shone, the birds sung, and flowers sprouted from every possible place. and the season was typically known for it's frequent showers, which motion found refreshing and quite soothing aswell. especially on open wounds. he'd had many a battle during a rainfall, and when it finally finished, he would simply stand or lie there, letting the rain wash away the blood, simply leaving the wounds behind, clean and ready to heal over in a scar. he was quite proud of his scars. especially the one on his shoulder. it reminded him of how lucky he was to have actually beaten his father, the one who'd made motion everything he was today. whether that was a good or a bad thing, he let others decide. of course, the tidus didn't have a word to say against him. well, a word to say against him whilst he was around, anyway.
but whether they talked about him behind his back or not, he didn't care.
he had more important things to worry about, like this meeting. a sigh escaped his lips as he dawdled along the path leading towards the shoreline. the trees got fewer and further apart, and the grass got drier beneath his paws. he lifted his nose to the air, and inhaled. the scents of salt was strongest to his nostrils, but he could also detect the stale scents of canines who had been down this path before him. some were tidus, some were aetos, some were loners and some had this scent that he couldn't describe. whenever he inhaled it, it caused his hair to stand up on end. he didn't quite know why the scent bothered him so much, it was like, he knew something, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it at the time. shrugging it off, he sighed and licked his lips slowly, his red eyes half-shut, giving the impression of a tired and lazy male. which he kind of was, really.
"almost there.... i do hope i didn't keep her waiting."
at this, he chuckled. oh yes, he had kept her waiting, but you see he had been rather busy at the time, with a very pretty young female who'd decided to sidetrack him. and funny, he was about to get his groove on, when he realized where he was supposed to be. it was unlike him to pass up such an opportunity, but he knew he had to meet with her. and it had been pre-arranged. would have been rude not to meet her at all. so here he was, his paws now carrying him across the sand. the scent of the maned she-wolf was leading him westwards, and up ahead he could see her tracks. he only had to follow them for several minutes before he saw her up ahead. hah, he couldn't exactly miss her. increasing his strides, he skirted away from her only to pad alongside her, keeping a birth, yet still keeping in time with her gait. a crooked smile escaped onto motion's muzzle, as he cleared his throat.
"hope i didn't keep you waiting, banshee."

With a low growl, she let out the breath she hadn't known she'd be holding, and slowly turned to face the large male as he sidled up to her. Banshee held her breath again as he met her pace, her nose curling. Man, did he always have to smell like Tidus? Oh, probably, he was their leader, so he might as well stink like all the rest. They'd get nervous if he smelt better than they did; their poor, inflated ego's would be crushed under the knowledge that they smelt terrible.
"Hope I didn't keep you waiting, Banshee."
The maned wolf wanted to claw his eyes out. "Your truancy record is still as soiled as ever." She rasped, before licking her lips and slowly her pace until she was just standing. With a flick of her tail, Banshee planted her rump and stared at the larger male, her mismatched eyes narrowing slightly. He was larger than her in bulk and in height, but Banshee wasn't fazed. They'd duked it out before, and often, it ended as a draw or she got bored. Boredom, of course, caused her to stop trying, but she only got bored when he was close to beating her anyways. In all honestly, whether she'd admit it or not, she admired the male. But, only his strength. His brain power was still lacking a bit.
Tilting her head to one side, Banshee pulled her eyes from the male and to the sand beneath her left foot, which was swirling slightly. Her face pulled into an grin, or an attempt of one, instead the 'grin' seemed to morph her face into a weird sneer. The crimson femme raised her paw higher, and the sand began to spin around her paw. Slowly, she flipped her paw over, in an almost twisted sort of fashion, and watched the air and sand twist into a small dome a few inches above her paw.
"Air is a wonderful thing, doncha think?"
Banshee let her gaze travel back to Motion's face, and she gave him her signature look. A look that did everything but audibly hiss. Suddenly, the small air ball launched itself in his direction, while it's owner leaped to her paws and charged the male. She glided past him with a loud snarl, and nipped near his flank, hoping to catch him with her teeth. It was time.
[ewwww, sorry, tis shit. D: ]

oh, how motion loved to push banshee over the edge.
even now, as she just stood there facing him, during the moments she was silent, he could sense the anger radiating off of her in waves. a mischievous grin tugged at his coal black lips, and his bright red orbs gleamed as the light hit them at the right angle. this would be a fun meeting, motion could tell that already. a fight always made things interesting. oh yes, he knew she was going to attack him. she always attacked him first, motion simply fought back. but he never took his 'jousts' with the aetos alpha female very seriously. after all, they were pretty evenly matched. well... not mentally, because motion was smart enough to know, that banshee was smarter than him. what a confusing statement. but motion was bigger than the maned wolf, in both bulk and height. and they both controlled two elements. in fact, motion was rather jealous of the fact that banshee had the ability to travel in time. i mean, what the hell? he only got the power to teleport and spray some water in people's faces.
he just wished he was able to unlock the potential of his water abilities. he sensed he could do something so much better with it, use it to cause more havoc.
well, there was nothing he could do about it at the moment. he was about to face off against his long time rival - enemy, he could even call her - and he had to be prepared. he knew she was about to fling an air attack at him any moment, but the real question was when. as banshee spoke, motion threw his head back and laughed. "still as bitter as ever, banshee. no change there." the red-tinged wolf hybrid crouched down low, his eyes remained fixated upon the bright red and black female. he paused, noting how weird banshee actually looked. rather gangly, in his opinion. what was she, a giraffe? her legs were long and thin, like twigs. and her ears, was she a bat aswell now? a bat mixed with a giraffe mixed with a wolf? woah. that was just too weird to picture. but he remained silent, instead listening to her next words.
ah, here we go. she mentioned air. it's bound to come now.
and so it did. a ball of air hurtled towards him, and he quickly teleported out of the way, now a few inches to the right of the orb of air, which zoomed past him. nice. he was too busy staring at the attack that missed him to notice that banshee was actually charging at him. her attack hit, striking his shoulder. motion toppled over, latching his fangs onto banshee's leg and biting down. he raked his claws down her underbelly, before teleporting out of her grasp.
he stood, a meter away from her, his eyes locked on her. "hey, over here." and with that, he soaked her with a spray of water that erupted from his mouth.
"oops, sorry."
notes; hush your mouth, your post isn't crappy. loving banshee's air skills. XD hope you don't mind that i powerplayed slightly? you can do the same, if you like XD there was kinda nowhere else to go if i didn't say that he raked at her stomach. he'd just be lying there. word count; 512.

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=background,http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af101/Siberia_North/newbantablemiddle.png]Banshee screeched as Motion's teeth bit into her leg, and reflexively, she lashed out with her free paws and clawed at his face. This caused her to come toppling down onto of the male, who conveniently teleported, and Banshee crashed into the sand. "Oof!" Ah man, now that was a perfect god damn landing. That last bit of clawing at his face with all three paws? Yeah, she didn't think that one through very well. Anyways, she'd probably landed a few good hits before he'd magically moved from one place to another.
"Hm, now I wonder where he went."
The female sighed and looked over at the brute, who was now practically dancing about. This made him look awfully childish, now all that was needed- Oh wait, there is was. The missing childish comment.
"Hey, over here."
Oh how she wanted to swat that smug smile off of his face. Rolling her mismatched eyes, Banshee quickly checked herself, a few gashes on her stomach, and a nasty bite on her left hind leg. Charming. She checked a few other places on her body, and found no other wounds to speak of, so she looked up and almost gave a sassy remark when she stopped dead.
It was at that point that Banshee saw a blast of water coming her way, her eyes widened, and she even slowed time a bit, but didn't move. In fact, she let the water come crashing down on her without so much as blinking. Well, she had to blink afterwords as she tried to free her lashes from the water. As any canine would, she shook herself and looked up, with one raised one brow, at Motion.
"If you wanted me wet, darlin', you should have said somethin'."
Banshee slowly sat up and looked herself over, well, at least he'd partially cleaned her wounds. Now it was her turn. With a hiss, and in almost a second, a huge gail came from behind the dainty female and rushed at Motion, but it wasn't just the gail. Banshee narrowed her eyes and raised her right paw, slowly, she began twisting the air between them, and as she did so, the mini tornado picked up sand. Soon, it was like a dust devil, and with a grin, she launched the sand at him as well.
Think that was enough? Banshee sure didn't. Instead of stopping at that, the female leaped into the gail that had been swerving around her and charged forwards, but at a limp. Hissing, she called the storm to move faster, and with it's help, crashed into Motion. This was her chance to land a few well aimed blows to his face, the face swatting she'd longed for early on. She also took the chance to grab his ear between her dagger-like teeth, and rip. There was no avoiding that, and of course, payback would be a bitch. He'd damaged her leg, so she'd spoil his looks, at least for a while.
Banshee stayed locked in a tussle with the male, biting at his cheeks and clawing his face until something knocked her injured leg and she crumpled. Not for long though, hissing, she slid away from him and rolled to her paws about five feet away.
Of course, she'd given him more than enough openings, and she could feel multiple cuts and gashes stinging all over her frame, she was tiring, for her stamina lacked. Motion, of course, would have quite a few wounds, but wouldn't be as wounded. Motion had smartened up and had damaged her leg, thus stopping her speed. But, he had yet to cripple her wings, and if worse came to worse, she could deal a debilitating blow through her time Control. She of course, could also walk off with time paused and make it back to her territory if fighting him became a bother. The idea appealed to her.
She looked sideways at Motion and blinked, what would he do now?
[sorry for the barrage of Banshee attacks, but I got carried away. n.n' anyways, this gives you more to go on. :3 ]
