this broken heart was stronger then ,
Ice cold cyan irises, so familiar, locked with deep warm indigo. So perfectly opposite. She watched as the hope and shock fled from within those twin orbs, chased away by jaded apathy. Another tremor rocked visibly across her body, sinew longing to leap to life and send her shooting toward him like an arrow from a bow. To press herself against the solid planes of his chest and shoulders, bury her face and muzzle into the thick fur around his neck, and drink in his scent until she became drunk with it; if only all the hurt and pain they had both endured could be rinsed away with such a simple action. Perhaps she should've gathered herself together, presented a tough, nonchalant exterior, but she simply could not. Her vulnerability and delicate femininity was his to have, to protect and dominate. A graceful dance that the two of them had always shared, a circling give and take that was rare in the world. Never in their time apart had she come across any wolf so hard, so proud, so irrevocably masculine as the man who now stood before her. They had all seemed soft and incapable when compared with his strength.
Muscle rippled along the powerful lines of his body as she watched, only pounding home the knowledge that he was the epitome of male, but the step that he took was away from her. The angel's eyes slipped to his face as he made his retreat physical as well as emotional; a familiar ache stabbing through her chest at the immobile expression upon those august features was viewed. No. Another tremble slipped down her spine, yearning to close the gap between them and remove all the iciness from the cold hard stare that had replaced the eyes she knew. It hurt. Oh it hurt more then she had ever imagined it would; even though she knew it would've been a miracle for him to react to her in any other way. How she wished in that moment that she could gather up her heart behind a tall brick wall and leave, pretending that she had simply been in the area and this was all happen stance. But her body had already betrayed her. He had to know that he was the only reason she was here.
Dark chocolate notes kissed forward turned ears when he spoke, no longer laced with hesitation. Instead it was an asperity that chilled her to the bone. But she deserved it. She knew she had earned every cold look and word that he deemed necessary because the magnitude of the hurt she had caused was something she could only imagine. She took in the scar that sliced across his perfect features. An imperfection, some might say. But in her eyes it only increased the knife sharp beauty that he already possessed and turned it into something more wild. It hardly even registered in her mind that the turn of his lips had been a smirk, so captivated by him was she. But she took notice when his indefferent stare locked with hers, the long dreaded question forming upon his lips. "You." The word hit the air between them before she could even think about it. Vibrating for a moment before it faded away. "I...." How could she possibly explain? "I had to find you. To tell you how sorry I am." Her breath caught her her throat, the last words sliding out in a choked whisper as she fought back the guilt and the tears.

and holding the ransom ,
- Intelligent - He is very bright and displays his quickness of mind in every word he speaks and all of his actions.
- Aloof - He tends to keep to himself; preferring the company of plants to that of other canines.
- Polite - When he does find himself in company he tends to be polite rather than overly kind or friendly.
- Skilled - He is a talented healer with a very close bond to the plants he uses in his trade. No matter what breed or alliance, if you come to him in need of doctoring he will help you.
- Pacifist - The doctor refuses to participate in the constant conflict between gangs. He finds war abhorrent and the leaders that promote it no better than the dirt beneath his feet. A constant struggle, in his mind, promotes and solves absolutely nothing.
